So that’s it guys. Christmas 2017 is done… well, kind of. Yes, I am that person who drags the festive season on as long as humanely possible. Therefore, I feel like a what I got for Christmas post is the perfect way for me to cling on to the last bits of festivity that still remain before the New Year. I’ve never tried anything like this before but I’m a very nosey person and I love finding out what other people received so I hope you do too… hopefully it might give some inspiration for gift giving, and if not, maybe you’ll just enjoy this little bit of insight into my life!
As many of you probably know, I spent my Christmas this year without my family, in Berlin. I have a lovely time and also received many more presents than I was expecting as the family I was staying with were super generous! For the purpose of this blog, I’ve chosen 6 of my main gifts, from both my family, and from Germany that I’d love to share with you.
Olivia Burton Watch
This is the Olivia Burton Signature Florals watch in navy and rose gold. I must admit, I knew this one was coming. I saw it online and thought it was absolutely gorgeous and I must admit, it’s even better in real life! I couldn’t be more happy with this one, and highly recommend it.
I’ve always admired Zoe’s beauty ranges – her style is flawless – so I was really excited to receive a selection from her collections from my friend. I must admit that I’d never buy the products myself, as I think they’re usually quite overpriced but they are definitely stunningly designed and I’m very grateful!
These have been on everyone’s instagrams lately and I’ve had an eye on one myself so I was really pleased with this present. I absolutely think you can’t go wrong with giving this as a gift and I can guarantee that you will be seeing this on my insta feed a lot!
I actually received a few charms for my bracelet from various members of my family this Christmas but the one I wanted to show you is this very thoughtful Brandenburg Gate charm from the family I stayed with in Berlin. This was unbelievably generous of them and will make a lovely reminder of my incredible trip!
I also couldn’t not mention that my wonderful (that’s a first, usually the only word I use to describe him is annoying!) little brother bought me this beautiful “sister” charm, which I found really touching… he really spoilt me this year!
So maybe this is cheating a little bit because it is two presents, from two different people. The first was a gorgeous Christmas mug and hot chocolate set (complete with marshmallows, of course) which was from my aunt and uncle. I love myself a good Christmassy mug and I don’t think you could beat this one – it’s ginormous! Secondly was a Whittard’s peanut butter hot chocolate from my godmother, which I had got very excited about on our trip to London and was just as excited when I opened it! I have tried it, and was not disappointed!
Sass & Belle Sign
Many of you probably know that Sass & Belle is my favourite brand, and another thing I love is my Cavalier King Charles, Suki. This sign is already taking pride of place in my bedroom… you just can’t beat a good bit of Sass & Belle!
It’s worth mentioning also that my main present was a trip to Berlin, which I mentioned earlier in the post. I spent a week staying with a lovely family that we are friends with doing loads of amazing things and they truly spoiled me rotten! If you would like me to do a post about my trip, then please comment on this post and I’ll start planning one!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year!
Lots of love,
