In mid-November I tweeted saying how I’d love to feature some small businesses in this year’s Christmas gift guide and was overwhelmed by the response – so much so that I quickly decided it warranted its own post! I love supporting small businesses and think it’s such a great way to find unique, beautiful gifts for loved ones. So, if you’re still struggling to find the perfect gift for your mum, dad, brother, sister, girlfriend, boyfriend, best friend or anyone in between, maybe one of these amazing gifts is the one you’ve been waiting for!
For the comedian in your life, Craig sells ‘funny, punny and cute gifts with a sheepish edge’ on Etsy, including enamel pins, key rings, mugs and framed prints. His Merry Christmas to Ewe enamel pin is the perfect stocking filler and the set of baaables would make the perfect feature on any Christmas tree. He’s also just released a new enamel pin just in time for Christmas and it’s my new favourite thing! You can find that here.
For the perfect colourful, cute and inexpensive stocking fillers Tracey’s Etsy shop is the place to look. She sells adorable pin badges and funky baubles to give your Christmas tree a quirky twist! My personal favourite is this Owl bauble and I also think these Christmas Pudding earrings would make a great gift!
London Life Drawing Girl
If you’ve got someone really special in your life, this could be a lovely, personalised present for them this Christmas. Karishma creates gorgeous architectural drawings, of peoples homes, famous landmarks or special buildings and is currently taking commissions in the lead-up to Christmas. Her work starts at £40, but she has been kind enough to offer a discount code which will get you 10% off your first order if you quote “HBB” when contacting her. You can find her website here.

Karen is a screen printer, designer and maker of cushions, notebooks and tote bags, all of which she sells on her Etsy store. Her products have a sense of fun and aim to make people smile and be happy, whilst appealing to all ages. Her ‘We are all wonder women’ cushion makes for the perfect Christmas home decor and the ‘I am very busy’ tote bag would make the perfect gift for any woman (or man!) in your life!
If you know someone who loves candles as much as I do, Kirsty’s shop is the place to look. She sells handmade candles, made of natural soy wax and using cotton core wicks for an easy burn. Her candles range in price from £12 to £40, and include a variety scents including Lime & Basil, Lavender & Ylang Ylang and the appropriately Christmassy Cranberry Kiss. Everything arrives beautifully gift-wrapped,presented in a box tied with a ribbon, making them the perfect, easy gift. You can find her full range of candles here!
The Treasured is an online shop full of loveliness from British designers and makers, including a collection by Laura herself. You can find plenty of gorgeous gifts, including this gorgeous ‘Let it Snow’ Enamel Pin and loads of cute Harry Potter themed prints. I personally think this Christmas tote bag would make a great present – and at only £5 it’s super affordable too!
So those are all the brilliant small businesses I wanted to share with you today! I hope this post has given you some ideas for Christmas presents – there’s only three weeks now until the big day! It would be so great if we could all support small businesses more in the run up to Christmas and all of these products would make beautiful gifts. Let me know in the comments if you do buy any, it would make me so happy! Make sure you follow my blog so that you don’t miss any of my upcoming Blogmas posts, I’ve really enjoyed making this series and can’t wait to share the rest of it with you!
